Your dental plan is a form of compensation provided by your employer. Every employer along with the insurance company negotiates the benefits and exclusions of the policy to determine the best premium for the employer and employee. In some cases, in order for premiums to be affordable, the benefits offered may not include everything that is needed to care for the patient.

Prior to the appointment, we will verify your insurance and get a general benefit summary. Your insurance company does not guarantee payment, therefore, we are unable to guarantee any fees quoted pertaining to insurance. Insurance is ultimately a contract between the patient and the insurance company.

At the initial exam, you will be provided with a detailed treatment plan, which will give you an estimate of the patient co-pay due at the time of service. This will also provide you with the necessary codes in the event you would like to contact your insurance company pertaining to coverage.

As a courtesy, we will gladly file your insurance claim. We ask that you remain involved in the status of your account. If the balance has not been paid within sixty days of the initial visit, we require payment be made by the responsible party. Once the insurance makes payment, we will be happy to refund any amount owed to you.
